Event Production Capabilities & Scope of Service
JK Sound has provided sound reinforcement and technical production services here in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than twenty years. Providing services for a wide variety of clientele from entertainment events and concerts, to community festivals, county / state fairs, corporate / business meetings, and weddings.

Although we are primarily a live sound production company we also do provide all manner of live video production such as video/data switching and projection including full video production fly packs and graphic routing and switching. Due to our excellent relationship with local lighting and staging companies, JK Sound can provide for one stop shop and billing for all your live event production needs.

Because of our extensive history in the San Francisco Bay Area, our familiarity with most hotels, convention service facilities, and San Francisco City government meeting and entertainment facilities (such as S.F. City Hall, Bill Graham Civic Center) is far reaching. Having established solid working relationships with these facilities creates a working environment that friendly, safe,and stress free.

Summer time is fun and full of music and dance here in the Bay Area in the form of Street Fairs and Festivals. JK Sound provides full production sound systems for most of the major Street Fairs and Festivals in San Francisco including, Carnival, Burning Man De-Compression, Folsom Street Fair, San Francisco Marathon, and Cinco De Mayo. Some of these fairs have us providing for Multiple music stages and floats.

TRANSPORTATION & LABOR RATES:
Trucking rates vary depending on distance from The SF Bay Area. Ranges from $150 +tax to $400 +tax.
Production Labor rates are as follows:
Pre-production rate, $75 per hour. One hour minimum.
”A-1”, or Lead technician/Engineer are 8 hours minimum. $50 to $65 per hour.
There is a 3 hour minimum charge(@ $40), for “A-2” Technicians, Drivers & Loaders, for delivery & setup/strike between 10am & 5pm.
4 hour minimum between 5pm & 10am(@ $40)
4 hour minimum TIME & 1/2, per person, for delivery or strikes between midnight & 6am).
* We charge overtime rates for labor on major federal holidays --
such as New Years Day & Christmas, etc.
